OFF-SHORE PRODUCTION
The wide range of SITAL products covers also the requirements of OFF-SHORE installations.
For several years our company has been producing sound-attenuated containers for industrial equipment and electrical cabinets with passive fire protection using insulating material classed A0, A30, A60, H60, H120; together with many containers built according to BS EN 12079-1: 2006 regulations for off-shore containers.
Our containers can be built using carbon steel (certified for low-temperature environment, if requested), or using other material such as stainless steel, in order to make them suitable for any environment.
They can be built with standard dimensions complying with ISO 668 regulations for shipping containers, complete with CSC certification, and also with special dimensions, according to the dimensions required by reference specifications. If necessary, several container modules can be built and adjoined on site by removing a wall, so that a whole big room can be created starting from standard containers.
Passive fire protection
SITAL has its own certificate stating the A60 compliance of walls, roof and doors released by RINA. The compliance with H60 and H120 classes is guaranteed by a certificate released by the supplier of the material.
Pipe sealing, cable sealing and louvers A60-certified by the manufacturers guarantee the continuity of the passive fire protection of all structural passages of the container (openings for air inlet/outlet, for exhaust gas piping lines, cables, etc.).
On request, the container as a whole can be certified by a third party as RINA, DNV, etc.
